International initiatives and guidelines are the benchmark minimum for our economic, environmental and social performance.
UN Global Compact
We joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC) in 2006, signing up to its ten business principles on Environment, Human Rights, Labor Rights and Anti-Corruption. We have also endorsed the UNGC platforms Caring for Climate, The CEO Water Mandate and the Call to Action: Anti-Corruption.
OECD Guidelines
We are committed to upholding the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The Guidelines are multilaterally agreed and widely promoted by governments as a code for responsible business conduct to multinational enterprises operating in or from adhering countries.
UN and ILO principles and conventions
We also endorse the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, the core conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the OECD Conventions on Combating Bribery.
