Women in Agronomy
Provides development opportunities, visibility and a safe space for women in Field roles.
Female agronomists often face challenges that their male counterparts do not encounter, both within the workplace and in interactions with customers and distributors.
Our ''Women in Agronomy'' program was launched in late 2020, initially bringing together 60 women from across Yara's regions. Through mentoring, networking, learning, and visibility opportunities, the program connects emerging female talent with experienced professionals, helping build confidence, expand networks, and support career development. Today, the program has grown to engage more than 1,200 participants across 40+ countries, creating a global community dedicated to advancing women in agriculture.
Black Talent Initiative
Building knowledge for top leaders, making everyone reflect, and providing development opportunities for black leaders
At Yara, we not only want to create the right conditions to have conversations about race and ethnicity but to create an inclusive culture where Black Talent at Yara is fully appreciated, valued and thrives.
The ''Black Talent Initiative'' was launched in August 2020 - is not a one-off project, but rather the first step on our journey to becoming high performing racially diverse, inclusive organization.
Pride Employee Resource Group
The Pride ERG will work to grow an equitable workplace for LGBTQ+: Awareness, Safety, and Visibility. We do this by:
- Creating Awareness: Educating employees about LGBTQ+ issues, terminology and experiences. This will help combat stereotypes, biases and misconceptions and will therefore foster empathy.
- Ensuring Safety: Making all LGBTQ+ colleagues feel secure, not only at our HQ but all 60+ countries in which Yara operates.
- Promoting Visibility: Making sure we have strong LGBTQ+ representation in the workplace is about ensuring employees feel seen, heard, and valued. It helps prevent isolation and sends a powerful message that LGBTQ+ individuals belong and contribute.
