Ethics hotline

The Yara Ethics Hotline is available in over 50 languages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It lets you report any concern you may have related to possible or actual unethical, illegal, or unsound activities or behavior within Yara's operations, its suppliers, or joint venture partners' operations.

When filing your report, you can choose to be anonymous. However, we do encourage anyone who makes a report to share their contact information and as much detail as possible, including specific instances/situations supporting the potential misconduct, dates, names of individuals involved, or any other relevant information that may facilitate the investigation. This will allow for quicker and more accurate handling of issues. Be reminded that all reports are handled with utmost confidentiality.

All notifications received through the Ethics Hotline are handled by the Ethics & Compliance department and will follow Yara's Internal Investigation procedure:

Report via web

• By default, the landing page is in English. Select your preferred language in the upper right-hand side of the page.
• Click “+ New report” button to report.
• Yara Ethics & Compliance will communicate with you via the SpeakUp site. Note down the “Report number” as it is required to retrieve messages, provide additional information and inquire about the status of your notification.
• You can also leave an email address to be notified when Yara Ethics & Compliance has posted a new message. Your email will not be shared with Yara.

Report via phone

• Find your local phone number here: Ethics Hotline phone numbers (pdf, 0.5 MB) 
• Yara Ethics & Compliance will communicate with you via the SpeakUp phone line. Note down the “Report number” as it is required when you call back to retrieve messages, provide additional information and inquire about the status of your notification.
• Your voice will never be heard by Yara; we only receive a written transcript of your voice recording.

Report via SpeakUp App

• Download the app by searching “SpeakUp by People Intouch” in the App Store or Google Play.
• Open the app and complete the following steps:

1. Set up your six-digit pin, which is needed every time you open the app
2. Connect the app to Yara’s dedicated channel either by scanning the QR code below or manually by entering Yara’s organization code: 109412
   
3. Click “+ New report” button to report (Up until here, the default language is English and cannot be changed)
4. Select between writing or recording a voice message* (Select your preferred Language in the upper right-hand side of the page)
5. Choose  if you would like to receive push notifications when Yara Ethics & Compliance has posted a new message

* Your voice will never be heard by Yara; we only receive a written transcript of your voice recording.
